• Get to Know Mrs. Lisa Lafontant

    Lisa Lafontant, was raised in the Coney Island section of Brooklyn, NY and is a product of Community School District 21.

    Mrs. Lafontant joined the P.S. 329 Family in 1998.
    Throughout her tenure at P.S. 329, Mrs. Lafontant has enjoyed many roles including
    Magnet Teacher, Student Government Organization Advisor, Project-Read Teacher, Dance Teacher and Fourth Grade Leader.  
    As a Kindergarten and First Grade Teacher of the Gifted and Talented, she was always eager to develop a new approach to inspire children. Constantly embracing her passion for dance, Mrs. Lafontant would be known to move desks around in her classroom
    to find an innovative approach towards teaching content through the medium of dance.  

    Mrs. Lafontant is dedicated to fostering a spirit of collaboration among teachers and has a passion for inspiring students to achieve their highest potential.  The legacy Mrs. Lafontant wishes to leave is one where she has had a positive impact upon those she has encountered.  Most of all she wishes to inspire them!
