Dear Families,
Welcome to the new 2023-2024 school year! My name is Ms. Baez. This is my 8th year working at P.S. 329 and my 10th year teaching overall! I was born in Puerto Rico on January 10, 1990 and raised in Coney Island since the age of 3.
Fun fact; I graduated from P.S. 329 in 2001! I attended Mark Twain JHS and Edward R. Murrow HS. I received my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in education from CUNY Brooklyn College. I've taught Pre-K, K/1 Special Education, 1st grade ICT and Kindergarten ICT.
I am thrilled to be teaching your child this year. I am anticipating a productive and rewarding year. I look forward to an amazing partnership with you to help your child become a successful student!
I will be assigning homework packets every Monday. HW packets will be due every Friday unless noted otherwise. I will be sending home monthly newsletters to keep you up to date on what we’re learning in class as well as what you can do with your child at home to provide additional practice in certain areas. Please check your child’s communication folder & ClassDojo DAILY for any important notices & updates! Reminder: Send in fresh blankets on Monday and keep a change of clothes in the classroom (weather appropriate). Thank you!
